Big Idea 1: Blessed are those who mourn

Two types of mourning:
Lower story mourning
Upper story mourning

Upper story mourning should lead us to repentance. To turn from our sin and our self-sufficiency and back toward obedience to our King, Jesus.

Big Idea 2: … they will be comforted.

HOW WE ARE COMFORTED:

1. God’s came near

2. The Holy Spirit

3. Jesus is coming back

4. The reality of heaven
