Today David Smith, Deric Ritchey, and Matt Deptuch share about Father’s Day.

Love God First!

Matthew 6:33 ESV – “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Luke 9:23 ESV – “And he said to all, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’”

Matthew 22:37 ESV – “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment.”

Love Mom Second!

Ephesians 5:25-28 ESV – “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that He might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.”

Love Kids Third!

Bring them up

Ephesians 6:4 ESV – “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

Know them well

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 ESV – “And these words that I command you to day shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

Never give up
